But C & D are clearly wrong, so the answer must be A & B

The correct answers are A and B.


If I create a new route for port 2 with a distance of 10 (default), and set a new distance of 11 for the route to port 3, the route for port 2 wins – Option B (pg 125 study guide)


If I create a new route for port 2 with a distance of 9—matching the distance for port 3—the tie-breaker is determined by priority; the route for port 3 has a priority of 2, while the default for static routes is 1. Since the priority for the port 2 route is lower, the route for port 2 wins – Option A (study guide pg 127)
