i think i'll choose C, upgrade activation procedure. In the Host's web interface, go to System > Software Management > Boot Locations, select the target partition (HD1.2), check Install Configuration (to ensure the configuration is synchronized to the new version), and click Activate. The system will then restart and boot from HD1.2.
